I can't connect a Tenvis IP camera to wifi. It works fine with a wired connection, but I get error code 12152 when I try to connect it to wifi.

Double check what types of network security protocols the camera supports.

Also try a different wifi channel.

Also, try with an open network, because sometimes those cameras are really bad at dealing with encryption. Are you using WPS, or manually configuring it?

Are your wired and wifi networks the same network? Do you show the same default gateway when connected to either one?

It's the same network. It's plugged into the router and working off that, but it wont connect to wifi. It has found the SSID and takes the password, just doesn't connect.

thats exactly what I was gonna say, usually small electronics like these cant support ultra high security protocols

Well, they support them poorly. I've seen plenty of cameras that can work with WEP, but not WPA. Likewise, if your router broadcasts N-Only, some devices can't connect. I've also seen problems with Apple devices (mostly iPhone 4) where unless it's set to Channel 10, it doesn't connect.

IP cameras are great, but in all honesty, the name brand ones are the best to go for. Tenvis looks nice, but are about as good any most other things from China. Netgear, DLink and Belkin are the best brands to look at for reliability. I've used Netgear and DLink with lots of success in the past.
